I have a small fan that sits under my desk and keeps me cool during the day. Sometimes I forget to turn it off and when I come in the next day, it’s unplugged. I always assumed a maintenance person or a janitor was unplugging it.
Today my fan is gone. Someone took it! I must have left it on one too many times for someone’s liking.

Neo-liberals don’t quite understand that freedom is not just about a free choice between a number of options, but about having the freedom to change even the very conditions of the context in which the choice takes place.
It is sunny and warm which is weird in November. I’m sitting here hot because I have no fan.
